THEATRE

 Tye began his theatre career performing in the international tours of RENT and HAIR, but began focusing on directing while assisting Broadway director Stafford Arima on multiple new musicals. He also assisted Broadway icon Terrence McNally on workshops and regional productions of his Broadway musicals THE VISIT and CATCH ME IF YOU CAN. Tye has created and directed stage plays and musicals in New York, Los Angeles, and Texas and worked extensively at many prestigious regional theatres across the country, including The Old Globe, The Alley, Theatre Under the Stars, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, St. Louis Rep, Sacramento Music Circus, etc.
